The Long Road Home!

Well I finally made it! It’s Sunday morning and I arrived in Las Vegas last night after driving through the desert from Phoenix (not forgetting a slight detour through somewhere called Blyth, California). Aside from the usual city smells of traffic and humanity, there was an underlying tropical sort of fragrance which was quite wonderful (this effect may have been enhanced by the fact that the day before leaving Canada we had wet snow).

I’m meeting Ms Constance for breakfast in a little while and I’m excited to meet her in person for the first time! After that – well, who knows what I’ll do for the rest of the day…
